My first year with PPC, my supervisors encouraged me to participate in civic and charitable activities to give back to the community. Participating in the New Bern Chamber of Commerce the Coastal Carolina Chapter of the American Red Cross has been a blast, and I look forward to what my second year brings.
Develop Your Career with PPC
We encourage our professional staff to become licensed CPAs by giving financial and other incentives to pass the CPA exam. We also supplement their on-the-job training with a combination of in-house, AICPA and NCACPA continuing professional education (CPE) programs.
We will help you follow your interests by mentoring your growth in three to five areas of concentration. You may work with clients in agribusiness, construction, medical practices, employee benefit plans, estates/trusts, or not-for-profit or government auditing and/or taxation to name just a few.
Our firm also offers a unique work-life balance. Our shareholders and managers have an open door policy. You will not be working for them; you will be working with them as we strive to achieve individual and firm-wide goals.
Hands-on Internships
Interns gain valuable experience in the areas of tax, audit, accounting and bookkeeping. All successful candidates must maintain a GPA of 3.0. We are currently seeking candidates for the following openings:
