Asa “Hank” H. Crawford, Jr., CPA, CVA, ABV

Hank is a shareholder in the Goldsboro office and former managing shareholder (from 1998 until 2008). He has played a pivotal role in the growth of the firm through mergers and acquisitions and routinely advises PPC clients navigating the complicated process of purchasing or selling their businesses. A Certified Valuation Analyst, he also has significant experience helping clients verify the value of their businesses and has earned the designation of Accredited in Business Valuation from the AICPA.

In addition to business services, Hank helps individuals develop estate plans to fit their long-term goals. He is a former director of the Coastal Plains Chapter of the NCACPA and is a current member of the American Institute of CPAs, the North Carolina Association of CPAs and the East Carolina Estate Planning Council. Hank is a Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Epsilon and Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his B.S. in Accounting as a Morehead Scholar.

A believer in community service, he is a past member of the Advisory Board of Wachovia Bank & Trust Goldsboro and is a member and past chairman of the Wayne Community College Foundation. Hank is also a former member of the college’s Business Department Advisory Committee.

Over the years, he has filled numerous leadership roles in the Goldsboro community, including director and chairman of the Federal Governmental Affairs Committee of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, director of Wayne United Way, director and funds drive chairman of the Wayne County Chapter of North Carolina Symphony, treasurer of the Goldsboro Rotary Club, boy’s baseball coach for Wayne County Boys and Girls Club, and a member of Tuscarora Council of Boy Scouts.
