Carolyn H. Maxton, CPA

Carolyn is a shareholder in the Raleigh East office. She provides tax planning services for individuals and closely-held businesses. She has extensive experience working with clients in the construction and real estate industries. A long-time resident of Raleigh, Carolyn has also worked with several local nonprofit organizations.

Carolyn joined Pittard Perry & Crone, Inc. in January 2010 when the firm merged with Whitley, Maxton and Company, PLLC (in which she was a partner). She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

Carolyn has celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunset Beach for the past seventeen years and hopes to do so for the next seventeen. Carolyn enjoys fall football season cheering for the Tar Heels and on occasion the Ohio State Buckeyes to maintain peace in the family.
