Douglas W. Pope, CPA

Doug is a shareholder and office manager for the Wilson office. As leader of the firm’s construction team, he has extensive accounting and auditing experience in the construction industry, as well as tax planning and advising for closely held businesses.  Doug is a member of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).

He is most proud of working with his clients and serving their needs. Doug is a cum laude graduate of Barton College, formerly Atlantic Christian College, with a B.S. in Accounting. He was awarded the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses, as well as the association’s Certificate of Educational Achievement for the Personal Financial Planning Process.

Active in the community’s educational system, Doug supports local high school athletic events, especially those in which his daughter competes. He is also past vice-president and secretary of the North Johnston High School Panther Club, Inc., Advisory Council member for Glendale-Kenly Elementary School and treasurer of the Rotary Club of Greater Wilson, Inc.

Doug is currently a member of the Wilson Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Finance Committee for St. Mary’s OFWB Church.
