Douglas W. Pope, CPA
Doug is a shareholder and office manager for the Wilson office. He has extensive accounting, auditing and tax experience in the construction industry, as well as tax planning and advising for closely held businesses. Doug is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), North Carolina Assocation of CPAs (NCACPA) and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He is also a member of the benefits plan committee for the firm.
Doug has been with the firm since 1987 and enjoys working with his clients and serving their needs. Doug is a cum laude graduate of Barton College, formerly Atlantic Christian College, with a B.S. in Accounting. He was awarded the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses, as well as the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement for the Personal Financial Planning Process.
He enjoys local high school athletics and attending those in which his daughter competed. He now enjoys NCSU events where his daughter is a rising senior. Doug has served as vice-president and secretary of the North Johnston High School Panther Club, Inc., Advisory Council member for Glendale-Kenly Elementary School and treasurer of the Rotary Club of Greater Wilson, Inc.
